Summer:
Summer word comes from the old English word sumor. In which Daylight time is the longest and toughest time. As climatologists June to August represent the summer season. During this cold and refreshing drinks become a focal point

Benefits of summer:
Some people don't like the summer season at all. But there are some benefits of the summer season also which are as follows
  1. You can get free vitamin D through the sunlight which decreases the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
  2. Summer causes us to feel less hungry so people prefer to eat fruits which has a positive effect on our body to get more active and improves sleeping patterns. 
  3. Increased water consumption hydrates the body and improves the digestion process.
  4. Summer is good for physical activities such as swimming which improves cardiovascular fitness and maintains a healthy weight
  5. Can also drink a variety of refreshing drinks which can improve energy levels and maintain overall health

Summer drinks:
In summer diy refreshing drinks help to hydrate and help the body to perform daily tasks. Here are some refreshing drinks that help in summer to boost the energy level. And easy to make at home.

Electric Mint Lemonade:
Ingredients:
  • lemon
  • water
  • mint leaves
  • sugar
  • salt pepper
  • Ice cubes
  • blue food color
Procedure:
Take 1 lemon and squeeze it into a glass of water, add a pinch of salt and pepper then add some salt with ice cubes and some mint leaves, blend it with a hand blender. In the end, add half a pinch of blue food color to enhance the look of the drink
Placing lemon slices on the edge of the glass with edges coated with sugar gives a luxury feeling. And can also be served to guests 
This drink helps with inflammation of the body and boosts the energy level. It is also good for healthy skin.

Carrie Drink (kachi keri sharbat):
Ingredients:
  • Carrie
  • Water
  • Cumin powder
  • Mint leaves
  • Salt
  • sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • Black salt
Procedure:
First place a carrie on a griddle on the stove and leave it till its skin gets burned from all sides, Remove it from the stove and take the pulp out from it gently. Put the whole pulp in the blender with 1/2 tsp of sugar, 1/4 tsp of cumin powder, 1 pinch of salt 1/2 pinch of black salt, some mint leaves, and ice cubes blend it until it becomes a smooth textured drink.
taste it if the carrie will sour enough add more sugar to it. Add water if it is thick for you. Adjust the consistency according to your taste.

Pine apple Drink:
Ingredients:
  • Pine apple cubes
  • Basil seeds
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves
Procedure:
Take half a tsp basil seeds and soak them in the water until they swell up on the other hand add  half a cup of pineapple cubes in a blender, add salt, pepper, mint leaves, and ice cubes blend it till it turns in to the liquid juice. Pour it into a glass.
Salt, pepper and sugar can be increased and decreased as per the taste.
Pepper is used to cover the edge of the glass which looks good.
Pine apple helps in the recovery after any surgery and is good for immunity. But Avoid pineapple if the person has diabetes

Conclusion:
Using refreshing drinks can enhance the mood of a person. Maintain the hydrate level and give energy to perform outdoor tasks. These drinks can also be used in weight loss. If a you don't have time to make these drinks you should buy readymade they are also available on the stores or any online platform.
But keep yourself cool and hydrated these summers to Avoid heatstroke.
